Allan R. Frederick

Remembering Allan with love... Allan R. Frederick, 19, of 885 Hilltop Road, Stevens, Clay Township, Lancaster County, died in a truck accident on Interstate Route 81 in Ryan Township, Schuylkill County, Monday morning. An autopsy was performed at Pottsville Hospital on Tuesday afternoon with results pending. Born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, he was a son of Franklin K. Frederick, with whom he resided and Kathleen L. (Steinmetz) Lutz, Ephrata. He was employed as a roofer with Gooding, Simpson Mackes, Inc., Ephrata. He was driving their dump truck to a work site at the time of the accident. Allan was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Cushion Peak Rod Gun Club, Vinemont, Berks County, and the Durlach Mt. Airy Fire Company, Stevens, Lancaster County. Surviving in addition to his parents are a step-mother, Rose (Geist) Kramer, at home; paternal grandmother, Betty J. (Epright) Frederick, Stevens, PA; a maternal grandfather, Donald E. Steinmetz, Lititz, PA; a sister, Angel Ann Frederick, at home; and 4 brothers, Franklin A., and Kenneth F., both of Ephrata, PA; and Bradley R. S., and Kevin S., both at home. Viewing Service The family will receive friends on Saturday morning, November 22, 2003, 9:00 to 11:00 AM from our funeral home. The ceremony celebrating Allan's life will begin at 11:00 AM with The Reverend Glenn R. Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Millbach Cemetery, Millcreek Township, Lebanon County, PA.
