Ann Acampora

Ann Acampora, 86, of Stevens, passed away early Monday morning, December 31, 2018 at the Luther Acres Manor in Lititz. Married in 1952, she was the loving wife of the late Joseph Acampora who died in 2003. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of Joseph & Carmela (Flagiello) Mirabella. Ann worked as a hairstylist assistant and later as a child care aid at Luther Care in Stevens. She was a long-time member of Faith United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denver. She loved music, shopping, and having her hair & nails done. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Ann loved her family and spending time with them was very important to her. Ann is survived by her two daughters, Denise Connelly & her husband, Keith of Brooklyn, NY and Robin Abdelmassih & her fianc, Steve Simons of Stevens; five grandchildren: Robin, Sean, Matthew, Jeffrey, & Mehgan; six great grandchildren: Joshua, Superb, Victory, Cooper, Ava, and her loyal dog named Dan. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Mirabella. Viewings will be held Wednesday, January 2nd from 2 to 4 PM and from 7 to 9 PM and on Thursday, January 3rd from 2 to 3 PM at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown, Pa 17567. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM with Pastor Newell Embley, III officiating. Entombment will be private at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
