Arline Kitch

Remembering Arline with Love... Arline Kitch, age 87, formerly of Reinholds, Lancaster County, PA, died February 27, 2011, in Fairmount Homes Retirement Community, Ephrata, PA. Born in Brownstown, she was a daughter of the late George M. and Anna (Stauffer) Zeiset, and celebrated 65 years of marriage on December 22nd with John Henry Kitch. A member of Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church, Brownstown, she attended West Earl Township High School and graduated in 1941 from Upper Leacock High School. Arline, a lifetime artist, created commercial artwork for area businesses and taught over 200 art students over the years in her home and at The Ephrata Recreation Center, did sewing for many people and was a member of the Lancaster County Carvers Club. Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter, Clare M. LeFevre, Stevens; her son, John Alan (Dottie) Kitch, Fairhope , Alabama; grandchildren, Rev. John Diller, James Diller, Amy Motter and Ann LeFevre; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Rohrer, East Berlin ; brother, Paul S. (Carolyn) Zeiset, Ephrata; and step-sister, Vera Kauffman, Harrisonburg, VA. She was predeceased by a son, Dennis Lee Kitch, in 1978, brothers, Horace, Alvin and George Zeiset. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at 11 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with her grandson, The Rev. John M. Diller, officiating. Burial in Steinmetz Cemetery , Denver . A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
