Cecilia M. "Terri" Haubrick, 76, of Ephrata, formerly of New York, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the Gardens of Stevens. Born in Bronx, NY, she was a daughter of the late George H. & Statia (Aptacy) Haubrick. Cecilia Maria Theresa Haubrick, best known as 'Terri' from her second middle name, was a graduate of Cambria Heights High School in Queens, NY, class of 1964. Terri formerly worked at the John F. Kennedy International Airport gift and duty-free shops and for Pan American Airways. She also worked for NY retail clothing stores such as Strawberry and Pay/Half and as a clerk for the Board of Elections. She was a former member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Queens. Terri moved from Queens to Rockaway Beach, NY to live with her sister and after hurricane Sandy, together they moved to Reamstown, PA, then to Ephrata in 2018. Terri loved retirement in Ephrata and enjoyed her leisure days of watching old re-runs of shows from the 1950s. For over eight years, Terri attended the former Sanctuary Vineyard Church in Millersville. She loved fun conversation and telling stories. One of her favorite stories was about the 18-months she had lived on an Indian reservation in South Dakota and therefore considered herself half-Sioux since she participated in the Indian ceremonies and rituals. Terri's fun, vibrant personality will forever be missed. Terri is survived by her sister, Barbara T. Reiche of Ephrata and was predeceased by her brother, George W. Haubrick. Services are private. Cremation services were arranged by Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre in Reamstown (Stevens). Condolences and messages may be posted at www.goodfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to Hospice & Community Care, www.hospiceandcommunitycare.org
