Charles I. Fosnocht, age 87, formerly of Ephrata and Adamstown, Lancaster County, PA, died Friday, December 7, 2012, in Audubon Villa, Lititz. Born in Elverson, Chester County, PA, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Daisy (Buchanan) Fosnocht. His wife, Thelma R. (Mountz) Fosnocht, died September 2, 2006. A World War II Navy veteran, he fought in The Battle of Normandy and was a life-member of Adamstown VFW. Charles drove truck for Interstate Container Corporation and worked for Bob"s American Used Cars, Ephrata. He loved boating, fishing, camping, NASCAR and the Phillies. He had been a member of Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Adamstown. Surviving is his daughter, Sandra (Ronald) Dietrich, Ephrata; son, Randall A. (Bonnie J. Mohler) Fosnocht, Stevens; 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and was predeceased by siblings, Joe & Havard Fosnocht, Mary Munson, Hannah Hackman and Iva Glasmyre. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 11:00 am from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, PA, with The Rev. M. Craig Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown. The viewing will be Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 am.
