Clarence Good

Clarence E. Good, 92, formerly of Reamstown, resident of Ann's Choice Retirement Community in Warminster, PA, passed away Wed., May 27, 2020. Born in Denver, PA, Clarence was the son of the late Walter & Helen (Swartz) Good and the loving husband of 70-years to Betty Lou (Stover) Good, until her recent passing in March. Clarence was a graduate of East Cocalico High School in Reamstown, class of 1945 and was chairman of the Alumni Assoc. After high school he served in the Navy, and then began college at Millersville, before transferring to Penn State where he graduated in 1950 and met his wife, Betty Lou. Clarence's early business career took him to new residences in Cleveland, Chicago, & Philadelphia. In 1971, he founded his own business, Franklin Chemical Co.; now in operation for almost 50-years and proudly continued by his three sons. Clarence retired in 1996, and lived in Wayne, PA and Rehoboth Beach, DE until he moved to Ann's Choice ten years ago. He enjoyed biking, flying RC model airplanes, camping, boating, tennis, golf, and snow skiing. He did missionary work in Haiti and Jamaica and worked with Habitat for Humanity. He will be forever be missed for his friendliness, generosity, leadership, and devotion to family; Clarence leaves a legacy of entrepreneurial spirit. Clarence is survived by three sons, David Good (Bonnie) of North Wales, Randall Good (Nancy) of Skippack, and Steve Good (Patrice) of Chalfont; two granddaughters, Megan Donigan (Michael) & Elizabeth Good; a brother, Curtis Good; & a sister, Hannah Prins. In addition to his wife, Clarence is predeceased by two brothers, Warren Good and Clifford Good; and sister, Lorraine Ford.
