Donna L. Sweigart

Donna L. Sweigart, age 71, of Mt. Airy, Clay Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at home. Born in Lancaster Township, a daughter of the late Preston B. and Sarah (Bard) Heimel, she worked for the former A. N. Wolf Shoe Company, Denver. An avid reader, Donna enjoyed jigsaw and word puzzles, facebook and online games, crocheting and volunteered with The American Cancer Society. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother & grandmother. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, William R. Sweigart; daughters, Michele (Michael) Cisney, Ephrata; and Lori (Anthony) Miller, Mt. Airy; sons, Michael (Deborah Potts) Sweigart, Denver; Keith (Sherry Zimmerman) Sweigart, Ephrata; and Matthew (Christy Ayres) Sweigart, Denver; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and a brother. She was predeceased by 3 siblings.
