Gregory S. Beam, 64, of Denver, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the WellSpan York Hospital. Greg was the husband of 42-years to Tina M. (Bitting) Beam. He grew up in Bowmansville, a son of Nancy (Wheland) Beam and the late Thomas S. Beam. Greg worked at DORMA Americas in Reamstown for 46 year where he was the lead painter. He enjoyed music, particularly live music and playing his guitar. He was a sports enthusiast; a Dallas Cowboys football & New York Yankees baseball fan. Greg often enjoyed a local ride on his Honda Shadow motorcycle. As a member of Salem Evangelical & Reformed Church, he loved Jesus and enjoyed the fellowship at church. He and Tina would take daytrips to the beach even though he didnt like the sand, he would go because of how much Tina liked it. He loved his role as Pop Pop and spent a lot of time with his grandchildren. Greg was the go-to guy, always in-the-know and always willing to lend a hand. In addition to his wife and mother, Greg is survived by three children: Cory S. Beam of Denver, Kelly L. LHeureux, wife of Jason of Ephrata & Jennifer L. Young of Ephrata; seven grandchildren: Julian, Kylie, Colin, Katie, Jack, Jonathan, and a sister Judy Gehman. A celebration of Gregs life will be held Saturday, January 12th at 11:00 AM in Salem Evangelical & Reformed Church, 12 E. Church St., Reamstown, officiated by Reverend Joel Hertzog. Fellowship & time of sharing will begin at 12:00 noon, in the church fellowship hall.
