Jeffrey L. Schlack, 70, of West Lawn, formerly of Reamstown, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at home in the faithful care of his wife and dearest friends. Born in Ephrata, Jeff was a son of the late Adam A. & June E. (Fritz) Schlack and the loving husband of 18 years to Debra L. (DeGeorge) Schlack. Jeff was proud to be a Navy veteran, serving in active duty from 1969 to '72. An avid outdoorsman, Jeff enjoyed four wheeling and camping. He was a member of the Rausch Creek Trail Riders and traveled to many four wheeling rallies. He enjoyed the road as a truck driver and his job driving the school bus for the Wilson School District. "Mr. Jeff" loved the students who rode his bus and they loved him. He lived each day as an adventure, even his last days. When diagnosed with cancer for the second time, Jeff decided to take his final adventure, an RV road trip of a lifetime. With Deb by his side and best friends, Sean & Patty, they traveled down the coast and across the states, ultimately reaching his destination, Superstition Mountain in Arizona. After six months of traveling, the cancer finally took its toll and he arrived home to the care of Hospice. Jeff's days of four-wheeler trails, sighting alligators, and swimming with sharks may be over, but his carefree spirit will always be with his devoted friends as their adventures continue. His wicked sense of humor and big heart will never be forgotten. In addition to his wife, Jeff is survived by a sister, Brenda L. (Lee) Garsh of Barnard, VT; a brother, Troy A. Schlack of Denver; nephew, Ryman Schlack; great nephews, Kaleb & Dante Schlack; and many cousins. A Visitation will be held Sat., April 10th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, 34-38 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens) 17567, where a Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will begin at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Reverend Matthew Hill.
