Joyce L. Mumma

Remembering Joyce with Love... Joyce L. Mumma, age 70, formerly of Akron & Denver , PA, died Monday, January 2, 2012, in United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz, Lancaster County, PA. Born in Fivepointville, a daughter of the late Howard G. and Anna (Pierce) Brendle, her husband, Kenneth Lee Mumma, Sr., died January 17, 2010. A member of Reamstown Church of God, she worked many years in food service with Ephrata Community Hospital , also for Cinderella Knitting Mill and Art Pannebecker Auction Service. Joyce enjoyed traveling, antiquing and time with her family. Surviving are sons, Robert Allen (Elizabeth DeAnn Moore) Mumma, Oceanside , CA ; and Randy S. (Wanda Sue Hufford) Mumma, Denver ; grandchildren, Casey, Anna, Kendall, Elizabeth, Bobby Ray, Joshua and Amanda; great-grandson, Josiah; and a sister, Margaret McEvoy, Ephrata. She was also predeceased by a son, Kenneth L., Jr.; sister, Mary Duing; and brothers, Walter, William and Howard Brendle. Service Information... Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at 2 PM from Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz Hill Road, Stevens, PA 17578, with her pastors, The Rev. Arthur T. Karick and The Rev. Joel R. Hainley, officiating. Burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville. Viewings will be Thursday from 6 to 8 pm from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, and at the church Friday from 1-2 PM. Joyce requested that rather than flowers, contributions be sent to her church.
