Remembering June with Love... June E. Schlack, 87, formerly of Reamstown, died August 8, 2011, in Stone Ridge, Myerstown. Born in Ephrata, a daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Hain) Fritz, her husband Adam A. Schlack, died November 21, 1975. A life member of St. Paul 's Evangelical Congregational Church, Reamstown, she was a Sunday school teacher, holiday program planner, performed mission work and sang in the church quartet. June had worked for Cinderella Knitting Mills, Shober Meats, Bollman Hat Company, CB Trimming and Hemmerich's and a township water meter reader. Community minded, she was a member of the Reamstown Memorial Park Association, Reamstown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and raised funds for the Vietnam and Korean War Memorials. Surviving is a daughter, Brenda S. (Lee G.) Garsh, Barnard , VT ; sons, Jeffrey L. (Debra) Schlack, West Lawn; and Troy A. (Lisa D. Willard) Schlack, Denver; grandson, Ryman Schlack, and great-grandson, Kaleb Schlack. She was predeceased by sisters, Arlene Lorah and Floretta Gockley, and brothers, Vernon , Willard and Gilbert Fritz. Services... Funeral services will be held Friday, August 12, 2011, at 10:00 AM from St. Paul 's E. C. Church, 46 E. Church St. , Reamstown , PA 17567-0275 , with her pastor, The Rev. Kirk R. Marks, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery , Denver . A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 pm from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown.
