Leroy M. Weaver

Leroy M. Weaver, age 103, formerly of Reamstown, Lancaster County, died Friday, October 20, 2017, at 10:15 AM in Ephrata Manor, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, PA. Born in Martindale, a son of the late Reuben B. and Lydia (Martin) Weaver, his wife of 70 years, Miriam R. (Eshleman) Weaver, died November 25, 2005. A member of Reamstown Church of God, he retired after 32 years from New Holland Machine. Leroy repaired lawn mowers, enjoyed woodworking and was a Nash Rambler enthusiast. He also was a volunteer with the Reamstown Fire Company. Surviving are his children: Gene R., married to Jeanette (Moll) Weaver, Stevens; Lee R., married to Jessalyn H. (Reining) Weaver, Ephrata; Linda R., married to Larry Hornberger, Denver; and Clyde L., married to Cecelia (Shaffer) Weaver, Reinholds; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wilmer Weaver, Ephrata. He was predeceased by 9 siblings. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at 11 AM from Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz Hill Road, Stevens, PA 17578, with The Rev. Arthur T. Karick officiating. The viewing will be at the church from 10 to 11 AM. The family will have a private graveside service in Middle Creek Brethren Cemetery, Lititz, PA.
