Lillian E. Troutman

September 30, 1926 — March 27, 2024

Lillian Elizabeth Troutman, 97, passed away March 27th 2024 at Luther Acres Retirement Community.

Born September 30, 1926 and was lifelong resident of Denver, PA. She was the daughter of

the late Harold and Katherine (Grimes) Troutman.


Lillian was a graduate of Denver High School, class of 1944. She was a forewoman for the Quinlan Pretzel Company, Denver for 37 years. A member of Faith United Lutheran Church in Denver and a Honorary Lifetime Member of the Denver Women’s Club. She enjoyed train travel, watching the Phillies, visiting friends, playing bingo, volunteering at the former Denver Nursing Home and was a passionate cat lover.


Lillian is survived by her sister Audrey Grill of Lititz, PA and lifelong friend Betty Kalbach, Denver. She was the adopted Aunt to the families of Theresa Nye, Denise Sensenig, Denver, Edward Van Lee Kalbach, Utah and Donnetta Erskine, Ohio.


Many thanks for the loving care given by the staff of Luther Acres and Compassus Hospice.


A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd from 1 to 2 p.m., service will follow at 2 p.m. at Faith United Lutheran Church, 357 Walnut St, Denver, PA 17517. Lillian’s final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery in Denver.


In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Faith United Lutheran Church, 357 Walnut St., Denver, PA 17517.
