Rev. H. James Justice, age 81, of Ickesburg, Perry County, formerly of Lancaster County, died unexpectedly while attending a retired minister"s retreat in Cleveland, TN. Born in Crisfield, MD, a son of the late Rev. Lloyd M. and Hattie E. (Tull) Justice and was married to Arlene M. (Gehman) Justice for 59 years. A Korean War Army veteran, he graduated from Lee University, Cleveland, TN, and served as pastor with the Church of God denomination at New Oxford, Mechanicsburg and Ephrata. In retirement he was associate pastor at Spring Valley Church of God, Temple, where he was a teacher and administrator of the Victory Christian Academy. "Jim" loved hunting, motorcycling, traveling and driving bus. Also surviving are daughters, Diane (Rev. John) Reed, Laureldale; Deneace (Randall) Ulrich, Reinholds; Darla (Barrie) Lindenmuth, Mohnton; sons, Darrel (Kathy) Justice, Toana, VA; and Darren (Kelly) Justice, Mohnton; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert (Lois) Justice, Denver. Siblings, Maggie Porter, Lorraine Ward, Rev. Maurice Justice and Rev. Alonzo Justice predeceased him. Funeral services will be Friday, May 17, 2013, at 11:00 AM from Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz Hill Road, Stevens, PA 17578, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Bell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Ephrata. Viewings will be Thursday 7-9 PM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, and Friday 10-11 AM at church.
