Rockford "Rocky" P. Leed

Rockford P. “Rocky” Leed, 81, of Stevens, passed away on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, at the WellSpan Ephrata Hospital with his loving wife and daughter, Karry, by his side. Born in Brownstown, Rocky was a son of the late Robert M. and Gladys (Bear) Leed. He was also the loving husband to Rosann M. (Lefever) Leed since their wedding in July of 1986.

Rocky served his country in the United States Army. After his time in the military, he worked as a diesel mechanic, fixing and working on large machinery for the Diesel Service Inc. in Reading. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the VFW, and the American Legion. Rocky and Rose loved to relax at their second home at Raystown Lake. In his free time, Rocky loved to work on any kind of engine he could get his hands on, whether it was fixing up a friend’s car, cleaning up the lawn mower, or even tinkering with the weedwhacker. Rocky was an all-around wonderful person who enjoyed helping others. His loving and lighthearted personality will be deeply missed.

Along with his wife, Rocky is survived by four daughters, Karry (Gere), Tina, Lorie, Anna Marie; 11 grandchildren, Jolene, Jesse, Brandy, Brandon, Rhiannon, Mason, Logan, Madison, Landon, Molly, Lylie; 7 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; eight siblings, Pauline Specht, Raymond Leed, Arlene Eckenroth, Darlene Kocher, Robert Leed, Jr., Lena Adams, Kathlene Devonshire, Roger Leed; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by three siblings, Roberta Leed , Roseline Leed, Richard Leed, and Marlene Leed.

A viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 8th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service to start at 6:00 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown (Stevens), PA 17567.
