Rodney Ebbert

Rodney G. Ebbert, 91, formerly of Ephrata and the Shillington area, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the Berks Heim Nursing Home, Leesport. Born in Mohnton, Rodney was a son of the late George W. & Mary Jane (Gerhart) Ebbert and the widower of the late Mildred A. (McDennis) Ebbert who passed in 1992. Rodney was a graduate of the Mohnton High School, class of 1947. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a former member of the Robeson Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plowville. He enjoyed bowling with the senior citizens league at Berks Lanes. Rodney is survived by his daughter, Sherri A. Ebbert of Mohnton; a son, Corey G. Ebbert; and four grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two sisters, Virginia Spayd, Grace "Arlene" Simms; and three brothers, Charles Ebbert, George Ebbert, & Irwin Ebbert. Services are private.
