Ruth A. (Ruhl) Witman, 92, of Manheim, passed away on Thursday, December 12th, 2024, at the Neffsville Nursing & Rehab Center in Lititz. Born in Lancaster, Ruth was a daughter of Frank & Annetta (Alexander) Ruhl, and the loving wife of Glenn H. Witman for 55 years until his passing in 2011.
Ruth was a graduate of Manheim Central High School, class of 1950. After graduation, Ruth worked in the banking industry for 36 years for Manheim National, Farmers First and Truist Bank in Manheim, gradually making her way from a teller to a branch manager. After her retirement, she pursued her love of farming and cows by caring for calves at a local farm. She had a volunteer’s heart; helping with church picnics and covering the French fry stand at the Manheim Farm Show. She also spent her free time driving local Amish children to school. Ruth accepted and supported everyone as they are, making any one feel at home. Her lively and happy heart will be deeply missed by everyone her life touched.
