Wayne H. Dauber, Jr.

Wayne H Dauber Jr., 90, of Mohnton, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024. Born in Reading, Wayne was a son of the late Wayne H. & Rose S. (Stengel) Dauber, and loving husband of Brenda F. (Fox) Dauber for 50 years.

Wayne served his country in the United States Navy serving from 1954-1958. He worked for the Polymer Corp in Reading for 24 years. He then held several part time jobs including Savage Auto Group and the former Giles Funeral Home. Wayne enjoyed roller skating, and this is where he met the love of his life, Brenda, together they skated through life. Wayne enjoyed reading and archery. Wayne loved helping his family and friends in any way he could. He was quite the jokester – a few of his favorite phrases were “Who invited you?”, “Home James”, and “Everybody out of the pool”.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Cindy L. Strunk, wife of the late Brad Strunk, Lori L. Concordia, fiancé of Daniel Sherman, Wayne L. Dauber, Tina E. Francisco, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Wayne was predeceased by 5 siblings.

A graveside service will be held on Sat., Dec. 21st at 11:00am at Allegheny Union Cemetery. The entrance is located at the intersection of Kurtz Mill Rd. and Alleghenyville Rd., Mohnton, PA 19540.
