William R. Wimer

Remembering William with Love... William R. Wimer, age 82, of Berryville , Arkansas , formerly of Lancaster County, PA, departed this life on July 17, 2012, in his home. Born in Dayton, Virginia, a son of the late William R. Wimer, Sr. and Annie Florence Richard, he was married to Bessie M. (Krisher) Wimer, August 23, 1982. Of the Protestant faith, William was a talented cabinet maker and woodworker; crafting beautiful pieces of furniture of red oak, pine and maple. William proudly served his country with the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Also surviving: daughters, Lori Wimer, Marysville, and Stacy (Dave) Loose, Carlisle; a son, Doug Wimer, Mt. Holly Springs; sisters, Arleta Farabee Tampa, FL, and Bernice Hoerner, Carlisle; a brother, Richard (Darlene) Wimer, Carlisle; stepchildren: Brenda (Rick) Oswald, Berryville, AR, LaRue Breasette, Martindale, and Pamela (Dean) Sutton, New Holland; 6 grandchildren; and many other family and friends. He was also predeceased by a sister, Jean Howard. Service Information... Funeral services will be held from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 34-38 North Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA 17567 on Monday, July 23, 2012, at 11:00 AM with viewing from 9:30 to 11 AM. Burial with military honors will follow in the Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Ephrata, PA. Contributions in William's memory may be sent to Hospice of the Hills, 501 East Sherman , Harrison , AR 72601 .
