Ada Peters

Ada M. (Westley) Peters, 93, resident of Berkshire Commons in Reading and formerly of Brecknock Twp., Berks Co., passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2018. She was a daughter of the late Isaac L. & Cora E. (Seifrit) Westley and widow of Robert E. Peters who passed in 1995. Ada worked for the Boscovs East store where she was the manager of the gift wrapping & layaway departments for over 30 years. She enjoyed being a part of the Senior Citizens group in Mohnton and was a member of the Brecknock Fire Co Ladies Auxiliary and the Gouglersville Grange for many years. She was a dedicated member of Robeson Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mohnton. Ada is survived by her son-in-law, John W. Bowers of Mohnton; a sister, Katie Woods Kochel; and 13 nieces & nephews. In addition to her husband, Ada was predeceased by her daughter, Doris E. Bowers; two sisters, Edna Kachel & Beatrice Kochel; and three brothers, Earl Westley, James Westley, & Harvey Westley. A viewing will be held Wed., Sept. 19th, 9 11:00 a.m. & funeral at 11:00 a.m. in Robeson Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3520 Plow Rd. Mohnton, PA 19540, Reverend Michael W.
