Adelene K. Lorah

Remembering Adelene K. Lorah Adelene K. Lorah, 85, of Mohnton RD 3, formerly of Adamstown and Leola, died Tuesday at 5:35 PM in the residence of her grandson, Jan C. Johnson. Born in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Jennie (Kachel) Witwer. Her husband, Ivan G. Lorah, died June 24, 1992. She was a member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Denver. Mrs. Lorah was employed for over 30 years by Bollman Hat Factory, Adamstown, retiring in 1978. Surviving in addition to her grandson, is a son, Jack M. Lorah, Leola; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Marie Shelly, Ephrata, and a brother, William Witwer, Denver. A daughter, John D. Johnson, also preceded her in death. Viewing Services... Adelene's viewing will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2001, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. The Reverend Jeffrey K. Lott will officiate. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, East Cocalico Township, PA.
