Alzada V. Pool

Remembering Alzada... Alzada V. Pool, 87, formerly of Clinton , Ohio , and Reinholds, Lancaster County , died Wednesday afternoon at 5:05 PM in Conestoga View, Lancaster, where she resided for the past 10 years. Born in Johnstown , PA , she was a daughter of the late Francis P. and Alice A. (Smeal) Dawson. Her husband, Daniel Carson Pool, died in 1976. Alzada attended the Reamstown Church of God. She was employed for many years by Pressler-Snyder Dry Cleaning, Akron , Ohio . She enjoyed baking and cake decorating. Surviving is a niece, Betsy R., married to Daniel M. Gehman, Reinholds, with whom she last resided and several other nieces and nephews. Viewing Service A viewing will be held on Saturday afternoon, August 21, 2004, from 1:30 to 2:00 PM from our parlors. The service celebrating Alzada's life will begin at 2:00 PM with The Reverend Joel R. Hainley officiating. Private inurnment will take place in Green Lawn Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.It is requested that flowers not be sent, however, you may contribute to The American Diabetes Association at Post Office Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131.
