Annamaria Uibel Leed

Annamaria Leed, age 80, of Stevens, West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, August 30, 2017, at 2:15 AM in Gardens at Stevens, formerly Denver Nursing Home. Born in Ephrata, a daughter of the late Paul and Ella Mae (Fry) Uibel, she was a member of Mellinger's Lutheran Church, Schoeneck. Annamaria graduated in 1954 from Ephrata High School and worked at the former W.W. Moyer, Inc., Ephrata, and Woolworth Mid-AtlanticDistribution Center, Denver. She enjoyed blue grass musicshows, macram, crossword puzzles and dining out. Her chicken corn soup and pot pie were the best and will be greatly missed! Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Edward W. Leed, Sr.; daughter, Martha Ann Leed, Ephrata; son, Michael P., married to Sally (Zell) Leed, Reinholds; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, Dale A. LeedandEdward W. Leed, Jr.; and siblings, Pauline Moyer and Fred Uibel. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 7 PM from Mellinger's Lutheran Church, 80 Gockley Road, Stevens, PA 17578, with Rev. Timothy L. Craven officiating. The family will received friends following the service. Private inurnment will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Ephrata.
