Ardelle Moyer

Ardelle M. (Rathman) Moyer, 87, of Ephrata, passed away Wed., Oct. 10, 2018 at Ephrata Manor. Born in Reamstown, Ardelle was a daughter of the late D. Weidler and Irene (Stricker) Rathman. She shared 62 years of marriage with Paul E. Moyer who died in 2012. Ardelle formerly worked in textiles at Cinderella and Moyers and in the stockroom at Doneckers. She was a member of the Salem Evangelical & Reformed Church in Reamstown, a graduate of East Cocalico High School class of 49 and participated in alumni activities. An avid Phillys fan, she enjoyed watching baseball, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Ardelle is survived by three children: Kerry (Cindy Garner) Moyer of Ephrata, Kathi Moyer of Ephrata and Kelly (Lisa Horning) Moyer of Ephrata; six grandchildren: Matthew, Megan, Tim, Jonathan, Josiah, and Hannah; and four great grandchildren: Micah, Reid, Claire, and Brielle. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, C. Virginia Wenger and S. Isabel Young. VIEWINGS: Mon., Oct. 15th, 6-8pm & Tues., Oct. 16th, 9-10am. SERVICE: Tues., Oct. 16th at 10am.
