Remembering Arlene with Love... Arlene M. Walmer, 72, of 1230 Main Street , Akron , died Thursday, November 29, 2007, at 11:25 PM in Fairmount Homes, Farmersville, PA. Born in Waynesboro , Franklin County , a daughter of the late William J. and Kathleen A. (Bailey) Keenan, she was the wife of Earl R. "Dutch" Walmer for 25 years. A graduate of Scotland School for Veterans Children, Franklin County , she was a waitress for 15 years at the former Akron Restaurant. She was also a driver for Rock Transportation for handicapped children and for Manheim Auto Auction. Arlene enjoyed reading, jig-saw puzzles, emailing and computer games, flowers, hummingbirds and trips to Atlantic City and Delaware Park . In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Debra West, Ocala, FL; 2 sons, Douglas (Kim) Chaney, Denver, PA; and Kevin (Denise) Chaney, Ephrata, PA; 4 grandchildren, Katy West and Kori, Sarah and Brieana Chaney; a sister, Ruth (James) Macinko, Tucson, AZ; a niece, Jill, and nephew, James. A daughter, Kathy Freeman, preceded her in death. Private Arrangements...All arrangements are being handled privately through Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown. Kindly omit flowers.
