Remembering Avery with Love... Avery Scott Wood, 6, Reinholds, better known to family and friends as "Bear" or "Lil' Man", moved on to be with Jesus on Sept. 8, 2009, at 5:47 AM in Hershey Medical Center. A Denver Elementary School First grader, Avery loved life and lived it with INTENSE FEROCITY! He love playing video games, wrestling and swimming with his brothers (who love him very deeply and will miss him very much). A true superhero to his family, friends and 3 'nuther' families whose children he helped save by organ donation. Surviving are his father, Bryan Wood, brother David Wood, both Ephrata; mother, Sarah (Good) Wood, 'nuther Dad', Jeff High, brothers, Tim and Tyler, all of Reinholds; maternal grandparents, Terry Karen Good, Ephrata; paternal grandparents, Glenn Wood, Pascagoula, MS, and Diana Wood, Wind Gap, PA; along with many other family and friends who loved him dearly. Viewings Funeral Services... Father's service will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at 4:00 PM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, Pastor Ray Deamer officiating, with viewing 3-4 PM. Mother's service will be Saturday, Sept. 12, at 10:30 AM from Mellinger's Lutheran Church , Schoeneck, Pastor Tim Craven officiating, with viewing 9-10:30 AM. Private burial in Mt. Airy Union Cemetery .
