Betty L. Stuber, 81, of Ephrata, PA, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 7, 2022 peacefully in her sleep. The daughter of the late Paul F. and Mildred (Sensenig) Stuber, Betty was born January 24, 1940. She was a member of Christ Ambassadors Church, Little Kutztown, PA Betty attended Ephrata Schools, worked for Akron Shoe Factory, Maple Farm Nursing Home, Ephrata Nursing Home, and after her retirement enjoyed doing in home care. She is survived by her sister, Mary Wise, Ephrata, brother, Ray Stuber, husband of Joyce, of Felton. Also surviving is a daughter, Karen Lynn, wife of Jody Mease, Dalmatia, three grandchildren, Justin Mease, husband of Crystal, of Herndon, Kristina Baronet, wife of Brad, of Cleburne, TX, and Jody Lynn Mease of St. Robert, MO, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Stuber, Jr., and Harold Stuber, sister-in-laws, Sandra and Delores, brother in law, Carl Wise, and a great-granddaughter, Shelby Nicole. Betty loved her family, reading her Bible, listening to Gospel Music, praying for others, scrapbooking, puzzles, crosswords, spending time with her sisters and brothers in Christ, and going to church. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 13 from 9-10 a.m. with service to follow at 10 a.m. at Valley View Mennonite Church, 194 Gockley Rd., Stevens, PA 17578. Place of interment will be Mellinger’s Union Cemetery, across from the church on Gockley Road. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to offset funeral expenses by contacting the family or the church.
