Betty M. Wolf, 95, of Ephrata, PA, went home to heaven on Monday, February 4, 2019. She is survived by her beloved husband of 73 years, Elmer Wolf; two daughters, Sharon Melson and husband, Robert of Wernersville, PA, and Karen Hackman (wife of the late Scott Hackman) of Ephrata, PA; grandchildren, Laurie (Eric) Jentes and Lindsay (Chris) Rada of Sinking Spring, PA, and Brady Hackman of Ephrata, PA; great-grandchildren, Ben, Robbie and Tyler Rada, and Grace, Jake and Emily Jentes; sisters, Mary Schnader, Dorothy Romig and Shirley France; and best friend and sister-in-law, Dorothy (Harold) Mohn. Daughter of the late Florence Weidman, Betty was born on December 29, 1923 in Brownstown, PA. In 1941, she graduated from West Earl High School. Betty was a lifelong member of Hope United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir for 38 years. She worked at RCA and the Akron Shoe Factory. She then retired after a 30-year career at the Ephrata High School cafeteria. Betty enjoyed traveling, playing pinochle and spending time with her family. Visitation will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Hope United Methodist Church, 3474 Rothsville Road, Ephrata, PA, followed by a celebration of life service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope UMC Memorial Fund.
