Betty Rishel

July 16, 1933 — March 30, 2022

Betty J. Rishel (PEP), 88, of Denver went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 29, 2022. Betty was the daughter of the late Grace Berg of Denver. Betty was predeceased by her husband Galen, Daughter Cynthia Miller, son Allen Rishel and a Nephew Dale Frank. Betty is survived by her Granddaughter Tina Geyer (Matthew) of Myerstown Two great granddaughters Danielle and Justine. Two nieces Tracy Frank, Holly Frank, and a nephew, Brian Frank Betty spent most of her life employment in cleaning, she loved helping people clean up their houses. She always said she was put on this earth to clean. Betty carried on this trait until the very end. Betty loved people and the lord. She adored her great granddaughters and loved hearing about their sporting and other activities. Betty loved her church family just as much. Betty was proud to be in the company of her church family and spoke highly of them whenever asked. Betty was a true Christian and practiced what she preached. Betty's love for people was first but she also enjoyed nature. She spent hours feeding her pond fish and watching for deer. She enjoyed the simple things in life. She was always saying that God never leaves us alone. He is always with us and gives us great entertainment. Betty was a strong independent woman who will be missed and always admired by those who knew her. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Fairview Cemetery Annex, Steinmetz Rd., Denver, PA 17517. Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., Reamstown, is handling Betty's arrangements.
