Brent Allen Hoffner

Brent Allen Hoffner, 57, of Ephrata, passed away early Sunday morning, October 29, 2023, at the Lancaster General Hospital after sustaining injuries from a motorcycle accident. Born in Lancaster, Brent was a son of Robert L. & Kathleen (Levering) Hoffner and the devoted husband to Kelly J. (Zimmerman) Hoffner.

Brent grew up in Lancaster County and started riding dirt bikes at age 10. He met Kelly over 35 years ago and made his family a priority. Once the kids had graduated, he bought a 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide and got back to his love of riding. Brent and Kelly rode together all over the east coast including trips to Georgia and New York. Brent deeply loved his family and treasured his role as Pop Pop to his little granddaughters. He enjoyed attending Aleiah's gymnastic events and when the family was together for holidays and family trips. For over 20 years, Brent painted fire trucks for REV Fire Group, formerly LTI. He was a talented painter and painted several vehicles in his spare time. He also had an artistic side and with simple strokes of a pencil, he could draw practically any automobile. Brent was the life of the party, outgoing, with a contagious laugh. He was the best storyteller. Brent will forever be remembered for his generosity; he was always willing to help others.

In addition to his wife and parents, Brent is survived by his son, Cody Lee Hoffner (Leah) of Marietta and daughter Cheyenne B. Hoffner of Ephrata; granddaughters, Sadie Rose Hoffner and Aleiah G. Hoffner; brother Shawn M. Hoffner (Rhonda) of Leola; and twin nephews, Andrew M. Hoffner and Colin Hoffner.

A drop-in celebration of Brent’s life will be held on Friday, November 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Amvets Post 136 at 614 S State St, Ephrata, PA 17522.
