Carl E. Lefevre

Remembering Carl with Love... Carl E. LeFevre, 71, of Stevens, died Tuesday morning, November 4, 2008, in Ephrata Community Hospital under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Ephrata, a son of the late Elwood and Leona (Conrad) LeFevre, he graduated in 1954 from Ephrata High School and was a peacetime Army veteran. Carl worked for Shop-rite and Acme in Reading , Allentown , Bethlehem and Lancaster . Following retirement he was a greeter at the Ephrata WalMart. He is survived by his friend and former wife, Marie (Jaxel) LeFevre, Beech Creek, PA; a son, Keith, husband of Michele (Harris) LeFevre, Crestview, FL; 3 daughters, Karen, wife of Stephen Morgan, Stevens, PA; Cynthia Lashley, Akron, PA; and Tammy Sweitzer, Denver, PA; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Donald, husband of Mary (Erb) LeFevre, Ephrata, PA; and James LeFevre, Leola, PA; and sister-in-law, Clare LeFevre, Stevens, PA. He was predeceased by a brother, Elwood LeFevre. Private Service...At Carl's request, private graveside services will be held from Mellinger's Cemetery, Schoeneck , PA.
