Carl W. Forry

Remembering Carl with Love... Carl W. Forry, 89, Stevens, died Friday, September 19, 2008, at 4:45 AM in Essa Flory Hospice Center , East Hempfield Township . Born in Richland , Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Harry A. and Sallie E. (Wolf) Forry. His wife, Etta Mae (Steffy) Forry, died March 2, 1984. A farmer early in life, he retired in 1981 after 22 years with Walter W. Moyer, Inc., Ephrata, and was known for is hobby of building dog houses and rabbit hutches at his home. A very witty man known for his sense of humor, he enjoy hunting and fishing. Surviving are 4 daughters, Lois R. (Robert J.) Fenstermaker, Sr., Adamstown; Carol A. Reed, Myerstown; Linda D. (Marvin R.) Weidman, Ephrata; and Donna J. (Peter F.) Lipcsey, Stafford , VA ; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mae Moyer, Myerstown. He was also predeceased by a son, Ronald Eugene and a brother Roy. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at 1:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown, with The Rev. William E. Hoch officiating. Burial in Pleasant View Cemetery . A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
