Remembering Carolyn with Love... Carolyn A. Dupler, age 97, formerly of Akron and Maytown, Lancaster County, PA, died Monday, April 9, 2012, at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, PA. Born in Marianna, Washington County, PA, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mattie (Temple) Myers, she was the wife of Arthur L. Dupler, also a resident of Masonic Village, for 16 years. Her first huband, James McChesney, died Oct. 10, 1954, and second husband, Nelson Bosanko, May 5, 1992. A member of Hope United Methodist Church, Ephrata, she worked 25 years as a Bell South Telephone operator. Carolyn was an active senior volunteer and enjoyed participating in senior activities. A music lover, she organized and directed several senior bands through the years. Also surviving: step-children, Barbara Kukich, Laura Murphy, Phyllis Umbenhauer, Harold Dupler and Jay Dupler; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Tisi; a son, James McChesney; and a step-son, William Bosanko. Service Information... Carolyn's funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, at 1:00 pm from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with her pastor, The Rev. James L. Garner, Jr., officiating. Burial in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 319 Wabash Road, Ephrata, PA 17522. The viewing will be from Noon to service time.
