Remembering "Tony" with Love... Charles "Tony" Blake, 73, Denver , died Jan. 17, 2010, in Ephrata Hospital . Born in Ambridge, he was a son of Charles T. and Mary (Laffey) Blake and was the husband of Hazel A. (Domec) Blake for 45 years. An Army veteran and member of O.M.P.H. Catholic Church, he retired as a human resource manager with the federal government. Tony was a 1958 graduate of Duquesne University, he was a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Father Daley Council, member of the Wolfe Tone Division of Chester County A.O.H., proud of his dual citizenship with Ireland, an avid reader, Pittsburgh Steelers fan, genealogy enthusiast and cherished his grandchildren. Also surviving: sons, Sean K. (Kate Hallman) Blake, Durham , NC ; Kevin M. (Michelle Foltunato) West Chester; and Keith C. (Johanna Tole) Blake, Bethlehem; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rachel, Charlie and George; sisters, Marty (Chay) Mesko and Mary Margaret (John) Donovan; brothers, Dennis (Mary) Blake, Tim (Claudia)Blake and Mike (Elaine) Blake; and nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass Inurnment... A memorial mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 11:00 AM, from Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata , PA 17522 , with his brother-in-law, Msgr. Charles C. Domec, as celebrant. There will be no viewing. Private inurnment will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery , Annville, PA. Rather than flowers, contributions in Tony's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster , PA 17603 .
