Charles ‘Chuck’ Henry Blough, 60, of Lititz, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster, Chuck was a son of Albert H. & Jane C. Blough and the late Gail (Schlott) Wolf.
Chuck grew up in the Ephrata Area School District and graduated from Warwick High School, class of 1984. He later attended the Antonelli School of Photography where he honed his natural gift of capturing the perfect image. He was the familiar face behind the camera at local high school sporting events, taking the action shots of student athletes that everyone loved to see published in the Ephrata Review and Merchandiser. He last worked full-time for the family business, CHB Sports, Inc., where he was valued for his many roles and contributions. Bowling is a Blough family gene and Chuck not only enjoyed the game, but also the comradery of the alley. An avid sports fan, Chuck followed the local, college and pro-level teams of all sporting events. He also enjoyed collecting antiques. He loved dogs and nature, he was the best dog-dad to his yellow lab, Emmy. His warm friendly manner was showcased by his easy smile. Chuck was a loyal friend, son, and brother and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Chuck is survived by siblings, Rebecca (Bub) Parker, David (Kimberly) Blough, Sarah (Andy) Snyder, and Julie Murphy, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Chuck was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Irene & Charles Schlott and paternal grandparents, Henry and Emma Blough.
