Charles S. Foltz

Charles S. Foltz, 90, of Reamstown passed away on Monday, January 29th, 2024 at Maple Farm Nursing Home in Akron. Born and raised in Reamstown, Charles was a son of the late Stanley L. Foltz & Carrie (Sweigart) Kress. Charles was the loving husband to Hazel V. (Sweigart) Foltz for 69 years.

Charles managed his own business, Foltz’s Upholstery, where he did the upholstering and Hazel did the drapes until they both retired. Charles was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s E.C. Church in Reamstown. Everywhere Charles went, Hazel was by his side. They enjoyed the markets, yard sales, and all other daily tasks as long as they did them together. Charles will be remembered for his grateful heart and all the appreciation he held for everyone around him. Charles was a devoted husband and loving father.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by two children, Linda M. Andes (Keith) of Ephrata and Randall E. Foltz (Kristy) of Denver; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Charles was predeceased by brother, Glenn S. Foltz
