Charles W. "Mac" Mcneill

December 9, 1930 — March 15, 2008

Remembering "Mac" with Love... Charles McNeill, 77, Ephrata, died March 15, 2008, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in West Reading , a son of the late Harold K. and L. Norma (Reed) McNeill, he was married to Jacqueline F. (Laurain) McNeill for 49 Years. "Mac" attended Reamstown Church of God and worked 20 years as a truck driver for Yellow Freight, Lancaster. A Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict and an Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War, he retired as a tech sergeant, having served on helicopter rescue. He was a member of the Air Force Championship Soccer Team in France . Also surviving are sons, Allen H. (Brigitta) McNeill, Ephrata; and Michael A. ( Virginia ) Werley, Hamburg; a daughter, Kelly Jo (Rick) Lied, Lititz; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters. He was predeceased by a son, Patrick J., in 1976. Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with The Rev. Joel R. Hainley officiating. At "Mac's" request, the casket will be closed. Committal service will be Wednesday at 1:30 PM from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Omit flowers, contributions in his memory may be sent to Reamstown Church of God Building Fund, Box 293, Reamstown, PA 17567-0293.
