Charlotte M. Eyster, 87, of Denver, resident of the Gardens at Stevens, died late Friday night, March 27, 2020. She was a daughter of the late James & Dorothy (Hummel) Jones and the widow of Earl S. Eyster who passed away in 1999. Charlotte was born in Helfenstein, Pa and resided with her husband in Tamaqua. She worked in the credit department at Sears in Allentown for many years. Charlotte later moved to Shillington to be closer to her sister and had resided at the Gardens at Stevens for almost three years. She attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Denver. Charlotte enjoyed caring for her yard, tending to her garden, and canning her homegrown produce. She was a caregiver at heart, always looking after those she loved. Charlotte is survived by one son; two sisters, Darlene Blimline (Walter) of Mohnton & Lorraine Snyder of Sunbury; three sisters in-law, Goldie Jones, Kelly Jones & Madeline Jones; & many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Paul Jones, Mark Jones, & Luke Jones & two sisters in-law (wives of Luke), Ruthie Jones & Beverly Jones; & two nephews. Her burial is private, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Her final resting place is Herndon Cemetery, Herndon, Pa.
