Remembering Cherrylyn with Love... Cherrylyn M. Brossman, 84, of East Earl, died at home April 17, 2009, following a brief illness. Born in Bernville, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Sara C. (Reifsnyder) Dubson, and was the wife of William "Rudy" Brossman for 66 years. A 1942 graduate of Terre Hill High School, she and her husband owned and operated Brossman's Valley Shoppe Antiques for 42 years and a stand at Stoudt's Black Angus Antique Mall for 35 years. A member of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church, Denver, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Also surviving is a daughter, C. Lynn (Gary R.) Redcay, Reinholds; son, W. Craig (Ruth A. Johnson) Brossman, Terre Hill; and grandsons, W. Michael Brossman and Jason R. Redcay. Memorial Service and Inurnment... A memorial celebration of Cherrylyn's life will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 11:00 AM from Muddy Creek Lutheran Church, 11 South Muddy Creek Road, Denver, PA 17517, with her pastor, The Rev. Paul W. Smeltz, officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Graveside inurnment will be Wednesday at 3 PM from St. John's Gernant's Cemetery, off of Rt. 61, Leesport, PA 19533.
