Remembering... Clayton Becker Clayton H. Becker, 88, of 304 Pfautz Hill Road, Stevens, Lancaster County, died Tuesday in Ephrata Community Hospital where he was a patient for 5 days. Born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Harvey J. and Emma (Gelsinger) Becker, and was the husband of Sarah J. (Ziemer) Becker since May 25, 1990. He was a member of Mohler Church of the Brethren, Ephrata. Retiring in 1978, he was employed by the former Parish Pressed Steel, now Dana Corporation, at their former Reading Division. Becker was an Army veteran of World War II, a life member of the Adamstown VFW Post 8795 and the United Steelworkers of America. Surviving in addition to his wife, is a daughter, Darlene Peters, Stevens, PA; 5 grandchildren; a step-son, Warren, husband of Delores Lausch, Ephrata, PA; and a sister, Elizabeth Bowman, Lewisberry, PA. He was preceded in death by a wife, Stella Becker in 1987, and these brothers and sisters, Charles, Edward, James, Elsie Ludwig and Harriet Heil. Viewing Funeral... Clayton's funeral will be held on Friday, April 5, 2002, at 10:00 AM from Mohler Church of the Brethren, 21 East Mohler Church Road, Ephrata, PA, with his pastor, The Reverend Phil Reynolds, officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. The interment will be private.
