Remembering Corey... Corey A. Weinhold, 30, of 700 Main Street, Denver, Lancaster County, died in Lancaster General Hospital where he was a trauma patient since Thursday evening. He was fatally injured in a one-car accident in West Earl Township, Lancaster County, on Route 222 in the southbound lane at 6:30 PM Thursday. Born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, he was a son of Ira A. "Butch" Weinhold, Stevens, Lancaster County, and Grace M. (Stirk) Stump, Annville, Lebanon County. He was employed by Durawood Products, Denver, and was a 1989 graduate of Cocalico High School, Denver. Weinhold was a member of the Reamstown Athletic Association and the Adamstown Rod Gun Club. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed shooting pool. Surviving in addition to his parents are two children, Nicholas A. Weinhold and Alexis L. Weinhold, at home; a companion, Penny Greenly, with whom he resided; his step-mother, Charmayne (Larry) Weinhold, Stevens, PA; his step-father, Harold Stump, Annville; a sister, Tracey A. (Weinhold), married to Steve Fisher, Akron, PA; a half-sister, Mandy Landis, Annville; a step-brother, Shawn D., married to Renea (Danco) Diamond, Pittsburgh, PA; and paternal grandparents, Ira E. Weinhold, Ephrata; and Marian (Bixler) Hoffman, Orlando, Florida. Visitation Funeral... The family will receive friends from our parlor on Tuesday evening, July 16, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral ceremony will be held from our funeral home on Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Ken Fox officiating. Burial will take place following the service in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring, Berks County, PA.
