Dale L. Martin

Dale L. Martin, 65, of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Born and raised in Ephrata, he was a son of Helen E. (Sweigart) Martin and the late Alfred Martin Sr. and the husband to Jacqueline (Howard) Martin until her passing a few years ago.

Dale worked at the former Bachman Co. of Ephrata and as a cook at several local restaurants. Most recently he worked for Elite Coach. Dale enjoyed motorcycle riding and attended bike week in Ocean City, MD. His hobbies included golfing and strolling through flea markets. Dale loved his role as Grandpa and treasured his time with the grandchildren. He was friendly, outgoing, and enjoyed casual conversation. Dale loved his family, visiting mom regularly and staying connected with his siblings was important to him.

In addition to his mother, Dale is survived by daughter, Michelle E. Doster (Jacob) of Mountville; three grandchildren, Allison, Lucas, Brooklyn; four siblings, Eugene Martin (Sandra), Kathryn Sweigart (Roger), Dennis Martin (Linda), Patti Shober (Dwayne). In addition to his wife & father, Dale is predeceased by brother, Alfred Martin Jr.; sister, Faye Lorraine Beaver; nephew, Titus Martin; niece, Rachel Martinez; great niece Amanda P. Martin.
