Della Trostle

Della M. Trostle, age 93, of Brecknock Township, Denver, PA, formerly of Reinholds, PA, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Ephrata Community Hospital, Ephrata, PA. Born in Brecknock Township, Berks County, PA, a daughter of the late Stephen W. and Elizabeth (Eckenroth) Artz, her husband of 44 years, Howard C. Trostle, died July 3, 1984. A member of Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Adamstown, PA, she was a volunteer at the Evangelical Congregational Church Home, now Stone Ridge, Myerstown, PA. Della worked many years for Hope Hosiery Mill and Good"s Potato Chips, both of Adamstown. She loved sewing, quilting and crocheting. Surviving are her daughters, Lana M., wife of Terry L. Schlegel, Reinholds; and Donna F., wife of Kenneth R. Oxenreider, Denver; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Her siblings Ethel M. Young and C. Elwood Artz predeceased her. A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 19, from 10-11 AM at Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with services at 11 AM, The Rev. Jeffrey Hain, officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown. Rather than flowers, contributions to Immanuel E. C. Church, Box 295, Adamstown, PA 19501.
