Remembering Denise with Love... At 4:15 on the morning of December 9, 2005, Denise Renee (March) Foltz ended her 3 year battle with cancer to join her dearly departed mother, Nancy Ann (March) Thompson; blessed, beloved "Nana", Eleannor Irene (Shaffer) March; brother, Warren Thompson; and her infant granddaughter, Hailey Nicole Werner. A member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Reading , Denise was a former Reamstown Girl Scout Leader, and retired as co-owner and administrator of several family businesses including the Subway, Adamstown. An accomplished homemaker, noted for her baking and culinary talents, she also enjoyed flower gardening, planting many around her home. Decorating with seasonal flowers was a passion, especially with poinsettias for her favorite holiday, Christmas, when she spent joyful, festive times with family and friends. She patiently waits for her loving and ever supporting husband of 33 years, Dennis E. Foltz, daughters, Heather Lynn (Foltz) Werner, Reading, and Holly Jane (Foltz) Clark, Charlotte, NC; precious, loving granddaughter, Marley Jane Werner, who knew her as "Meme", with whom Denise placed her hope in the future and; sister, Jody Lynn (Thompson) Keen, Culville, WA; 3 aunts, 2 uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Schumacher leading family and friends in the sharing of her life stories and memories. A visitation with the family will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
