Dennis R. Mccoy

Dennis R. McCoy, 69, of Ephrata, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Dennis was born in Ephrata, PA son of Grace Lutz McCoy and the late Raymond C. McCoy and grandson of the late Stella Lutz. He was the loving husband of Pamela Shimp McCoy for 36 years and is also survived by two sisters, Connie (Alvin) DeHaven and Beverly Gahring, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis was a lifetime resident of the Ephrata area and a U.S. Army Veteran. He graduated from Ephrata High School in 1971 and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Denver, PA. Dennis was employed by Farm Building Sanitation, Inc. of Witmer, PA before retiring in 2013. Music was Dennis’ passion. He played the drums and was a member of the Night Shift Trio, a country and rock music band. He was also an automotive enthusiast and enjoyed muscle cars, especially his Olds 442. Sky King and Mystic were Dennis’ two Sheltie dogs that loved being with Dennis and riding in his Dodge pickup truck. Arrangements are under the care of Paul L.
