Remembering Dorothy with Love... Dorothy M. Cochran Martin, age 86, of Ephrata Borough, Lancaster County, PA, died Sunday, February 19, 2012, at 12:05 pm in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, Lancaster County, PA, where she was a guest since November 2011. Born in Richland , Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Joel J. and Marianne K. (Graeff) Wiest. Her 1st husband, Ivan Cochran, died May 10, 1949, and her 2nd husband, Charles E. Martin, died August 7, 1991. A member and former Sunday school teacher of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , Swartzville, she worked at Yorktowne Manufacturing, Ephrata. Dorothy enjoyed reading and word puzzles, and loved going out to eat and shopping. Surviving is her son, Burnell I. , husband of Clara (Andreadis) Cochran, Ephrata; grandson, Burnell E. Cochran; and a sister, Hilda I. Alexander, Ephrata. She was predeceased by brothers, Warren and Earl Mark Wiest. Service Information... Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, at 11:00 am from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with The Reverend David T. Hinkley officiating. Burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville. A viewing will be held Friday from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.
