Drew Gensemer

Drew A. Gensemer, 65, of Akron, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Ephrata, he was a son of the late Florence Gensemer. Drew was a graduate of Cocalico High School, class of 1975. He worked in yacht manufacturing for Trojan Boats out of Philadelphia. He also worked at the Dollar General in Akron and the Sunoco in Reamstown. When he was younger, he enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Drew was an old-fashion, tough-love kind of father who set boundaries yet loved with his whole heart. He loved his family. Drew is survived by a son, Bradley A. Gensemer of Ephrata; a daughter, Candice L. Kleinert (Brian) of Virginia; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Dale Gensemer, and Kevin Gensemer. Services are respectfully private.
