Drew A Myers

Drew Alan Myers, born April 4,1955, passed away after experiencing a heart attack on Monday February 24, 2025. A lifelong resident of Ephrata, PA, Drew was an active member of The Bethany United Church of Christ, graduated from Ephrata High School in 1973, and served on the Ephrata Area School Board from 1981 to 1997 including his terms as board President from 1985 to 1987. Drew was a member of the IU 13 Board from 1988 to 1997 and acted as Treasurer from 1994 to 1997. To support his beloved Ephrata community, Drew served as a board member of Cocalico Place for numerous terms as well as the Ephrata Cloister board where he served as board president for a period of time. 

A 1977 graduate of Penn State University, Drew was a superfan of the Nittany Lions and held season tickets for many years. His love of football led to his twenty-one year involvement as "Coach Drew" in advising the Ephrata High School Cheerleading Squad. 

Drew's wife, Deborah, and daughter, Regina, thank you for your thoughts and prayers. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bethany United Church of Christ, 140 East Main Street, Ephrata PA 17522. While formal services will not be held, a celebration of life will be hosted on Drew's birthday in April.
