Remembering... Earlene L. Becker Earlene L. Becker, 74, formerly of 2135 Old Lancaster Pike, Reinholds, Berks County, died Tuesday evening at 9:30 PM in the Mennonite Home, Lancaster, where she resided since August 24, 1999. Born in East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin C. and Elsie M. (Kohl) Sweigart. Her husband, Harry A. "Junior" Becker, died November 27, 1994. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Swartzville, and also was a life-member of the American Motorcycle Association and the Adamstown VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Earlene had been employed many years ago by the former Cinderella Knitting Mill, Denver, Lancaster County. Surviving is a sister, Shirley Sweigart, Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Emily E. Lied, and 2 brothers, Alton and Marvin Sweigart. Viewing Funeral... Earlene's viewing will be held from our parlor on Sunday, March 24, 2002, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. The funeral will be at our establishment on Monday, March 25, 2002, at 10:00 AM with her pastor, The Reverend William E. Hoch, officiating.If desired, contributions may be sent in Earlene's memory to her church, Peace United Church of Christ, 37 East Swartzville Road, Denver, PA 17517.
