Edith P. Hanna

Remembering Edith, a loving mother and grandma... Edith P. Hanna, 76, of Denver , went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 9, 2009, at 2:55 PM in Ephrata Community Hospital . Born in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Leon and Ethel (Snyder) Bartholomew, her husband, Earl K. "Shorty" Hanna, died April 22, 2003. A member of Bible Baptist Church , Akron , she worked for Eby Shoe, Ephrata. An avid NASCAR fan, especially Jeff Gordon, she also enjoyed bingo. Surviving are daughters, Wendy C. (Calvin, Jr.) Weidman, and Donna P. (L. Dean) Imhoff, both of Denver; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Floyd, Denver; brothers, Richard Bartholomew, Harrisburg; and Daniel Bartholomew, Akron; a son, Ricky E. Hanna, predeceased her in 1970. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown with her pastor, The Rev. George H. Frantz, officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
